Communication: Because I am majoring in Communication, I have garnered many skills that have allowed me to be better prepared to understand others, while allowing them to fully understand me at the same time. Once barriers of communication come down, it allows for more success in any aspect.

Problem Solving: Based on my experience in both academics and jobs, I have found many solutions for problems depending on the situation and those involved. It is important to understand the root of issues and the other sides' perspective to create a solution that can benefit all parties.

Collaboration: Throughout my college years, I have completed many group projects and essays and have discovered that the best way through these types of tasks is to utilize communication skills so everyone feels heard, while still maintaining some sort of leadership role as a guide for whatever needs to be accomplished.

Microsoft Office: In my second semester here at Texas A&M University, I was in a business management class in which the main focus was gaining knowledge in all aspects of Microsoft Office. Because of this, I have substantial knowledge in many programs, such as Word, Excel, and Access.

Social Media: Because of my experience with running the social media for a local bar while in a social media class here at TAMU, I have gained some knowledge on what is important when it comes to social media marketing. The audience, style of posts, time of posts, and platform make a huge difference on the success of your business marketing strategies.
